STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
Our teachers are top notch when it comes to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Our staff are trained in the latest materials and curriculum in STEM and bring those ideas to their classroom in an age and developmentally appropriate way. Kid’s Town teachers offer a variety of kid’s science experiments and science projects that are full of fun, easy and exciting hands-on experiments. These simple, safe and easy to follow science experiments and science projects can help make learning fun and easy. The activities will include absorption, balancing and gravity, curious colors, floating and sinking, learning about heat, magnetic attractions, mixing and separating, surprising senses, temperature, plants and flowers. Technology and Engineering range from building soap cars, building bridges, to creating their own gaming program and putting it on a thumb drive. Math is introduced in a way that brings counting, adding, matching and sorting to kids that makes it relatable.
